Reporting to the Revenue Cycle Manager, the payment poster is challenged to create the most efficient and effective posting processes, daily payment reconciliation. Responsible for online payments in all systems, daily lock box review, remittance review, posting payments and denials. Responsible for payment postings (ERA/Manual), and cash controls and balancing.
 

This is a Hybrid Remote position based in our Concord, NH office

A typical day in the life of a Payment Poster includes, but not limited to:  

  • Review collections for missing bill codes
  • Process online payments
  • Daily scans of remits
  • Review Lock Box totals and record
  • Post Lock Box Zero Pays and Denials
     

Education & Experience:  

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Associate's Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration; 3 year's of revenue cycle experience in lieu of education
  • Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel Spreadsheet, and SharePoint Applications
  • At least 2 years’ experience posting payments and denials in a high-volume medical billing department
  • Extensive knowledge of posting payments, denials, and end of day reconciliation
  • Experience with multi-site, individually credentialed facilities (urgent care, ASC, etc.)
  • Excellent customer service, problem-solving skills, and ability to multi-task/meeting deadlines
  • Experity experience preferred
     

A typical work schedule consists of weekdays 8am – 5:00pm in Concord, NH. This is a hybrid role in which the employee would be required to be in the office a minimum of 2 days a week or more as needed.
